Second Saturday Suppers
Second Saturday Suppers are informal gatherings held in the homes of members and friends of the church with small groups of six to eight people on the second Saturday of the month from January-June. The first dinner is a potluck held in Baker Hall at 6:00 p.m. Wine and pop will be available for the “Get Acquainted Hour.” Ham and turkey will be provided for a nominal fee - $6 per person. Attendees will supply the salad, vegetable or dessert by bringing a dish for eight. This is an excellent way to get acquainted with people in our church.
From February through June, the host for each dinner will supply the main course. Each guest will be asked to bring a side dish. It is important that each person take a turn hosting. If you are single, we will attempt to help you find a co-host. Sign-ups typically begin in November, so watch the church newsletter, Shorelines for an announcement about the start of the Second Saturday Suppers.
