Uncle Waldo's Coffee House

Uncle Waldo's began in 2005 when Intern and Sabbatical Minister Tamara Lebak developed a friendship with Brian Schmuck, a huge folk music fan and promoter, who was running house concerts out of his apartment. The idea of offering his concerts in the intimate yet spacious environment of West Shore Church's Baker Hall was born. Uncle Waldo's Shows don't happen on a regularly scheduled basis but when we can book a suitable artist into our venue. Sometimes the artist will be the guest musician at our Sunday morning service as well.

Making Uncle Waldo's happen requires a steady commitment from one or more lead volunteers to manage publicity and ticket sales for the church,

and it requires a one night commitment from as many as six volunteers helping with set up, tickets, food sales, and clean up.

If you are an acoustic or folk music lover, and would like to help with Uncle Waldo's, contact Rev. Wayne Arnason.
