2018 Service Auction 

"Fun and Games!"

presented by MBUUYA and friends. Help us put the "fun" in "fund raising" at the 2018 Service Auction! It will be a night to remember, with your chance to win valuable services, items, gift baskets, gift cards, private parties and event, and more. The theme of "Fun and Games" will be reflected all around, with motifs from classic board games, video games, game shows, toys, sports, and more.We will start at 5:30 pm with a feast fit for the finest sports event club seats, with fresh grilled burgers and dogs, an eclectic topping bar to tickle any palate, and picnic-style side dishes made with care. (Refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary to all guests throughout the night)
Then at 7 pm, the silent auction begins. Examples of what you can win include personal lessons in many areas of interest, services such as babysitting, errand-running, technical assistance, and pro-bono professional services, attendance at exclusive parties such as the notorious annual Trivial Pursuit party, Euchre tournament, and Lakewood home and Garden tour, dinner parties featuring all sorts of world cuisine, and takeaway items such as handmade art, gift baskets, jewellery, antique collectibles, and so much more. Really- that barely scratches the surface!
Finally at 8:30pm, it's the main event- the Live Auction, featuring professional auctioneer, Chris Fornadel, who will make sure that we all enjoy a robust and entertaining auction of the most prestigious, enjoyable, and desirable services/events. The Merry Band of UU Young Adults (MBUUYA) also has some aces up their sleeves when it comes to live entertainment and prize winning opportunities, so you DO NOT want to miss the live auction this year! Even if you don't plan to bid in the live auction, it will be most certainly entertaining to watch!If you would like to donate a service, event, party, or item, please fill out the online form, or pick up a paper donation form at the church office. Absolutely final deadline for donation forms is April 8th, 2018.Tickets will go on sale after church on Sunday, April 8th. If you wish to attend the pre-auction dinner, you'll want to purchase your tickets as early as you can, because this year, due to fire safety and occupancy concerns, we must restrict the number of dinner tickets sold to 140. In order to be as inclusive as possible, pricing will be offered at various levels of affordability.
