West Shore's Youth Group
"Junior Church" for Grades 9-12
Sunday Mornings during the regular church year at 10:15 a.m.
Junior Church meets on Sunday mornings to discuss issues of spiritual importance to today's youth.
Sunday Evening Youth Group (SNYG) meets from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
Twice a month during the school year, the high school youth of West Shore meet on Sunday evenings in the spirit of fun and exploration. Meetings traditionally begin with a "mystery potluck" meal. Then after a chalice lighting and check-in, an evening of youth-led programming follows. Activities include socializing and discussions, physical games, social justice, supporting members' school/community events, interfaith gatherings, fundraising and trips. This program is youth led with adults present to advise and assist. Contact Youth Ministry Coordinator for more information.
Sunday Mornings at 10:15
High school youth may choose to attend the 10:15 sanctuary worship instead of Junior Church. Or, if they like, they can choose to serve the church
in another role, such as greeter, usher, social hour host, tech support, choir member, teachers’ aide, child care, or office volunteer. See Layne
Richard-Hammock for more information.
