The Reverend Patricia Hart has been serving Unitarian Universalist congregations as a minister and consultant for almost two decades – serving churches in New England, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and now in northeast Ohio. In addition to her work as a parish minister, she has consulted to regional gatherings and congregations around the country on issues involving leadership development and stewardship.
Almost all of Rev. Hart’s ministries have all been intentionally short-term, and her expertise has become focused on the special challenges facing congregations in transition. She is deeply involved in the evolving story of Unitarian Universalism in our time and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the UU Ministers Association.
Rev. Hart now lives in Lakewood with her husband, the Rev. Peter Newport, their small and friendly poodle, Waldo, and far too many books.
