Book Store

Books are important to Unitarian Universalists. We like to read them, talk about them, and swap them! Our BUUk Store has three purposes:  1) to be a convenient outlet for church members to obtain the required books, CD's or DVD's for adult classes in the PUURL program; 2) to be a convenient and accessible outlet for unique books published by and about Unitarian Universalists and the issues we care about. Our denomination has its own press, Skinner House, and is the owner of one of the most respected independent religious publishing houses in America, Beacon Press; 3) to be an inexpensive exchange outlet for previously read books our members would like to share, with sale prices ranging from fifty cents to two dollars.

The BUUK Store's Sunday Hours are 9:45 - 10:15, just before services, and 11:30 - 12:30, after services are over. You can also usually obtain help from an office staff member to get a book you need for a PUURL class at any time during the week.

Our book store's volunteer manager, Sarah Beech, is assisted by Soren Hanson, who handles the denominational books. Soren is also responsible for volunteer recruitment to assist Sarah each month with the Sunday morning hours.  Come check out our BUUK store next Sunday. You'll be sure to find something of interest to you.
