Welcome to West Shore
Unitarian Universalist Church
West Shore Unitarian Universalist Church exists to inspire more people to live lives of meaning and purpose. We believe that engagement with a religious community can transform lives, and we invite you to be a part of that transformation.
From Labor Day to Mother's Day, our worship services begin at 9:30 a.m. and 11:15 am. After Mother's Day, we return to one service time at 10:30 a.m. The choir concert in December will also be one service time. Lifespan Faith Development for children and youth are held at both service times. If you're new to West Shore and to Unitarian Universalism, we encourage you to attend one of our Newcomer's Events. If you've been coming for a while, and believe that you are ready to join, please attend one of the monthly Path to Membership classes offered.
There are many ways to connect with members of West Shore. Be sure to electronically subscribe to or pick up a copy of Shorelines, the monthly church newsletter, that contains a wealth of information about activities at church. Check the church calendar on this website for events that are updated weekly.
Our religious tradition is liberal; our approach to religious questions rational; our worship—inspiring; our commitment to social justice and social action is both historic and on-going. We are a member congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association and it's Ohio Meadville District, both of these rich offering rich resources for our programs and services, including messages like this video in major media markets.
We hope that you’ll find your own meaning and purpose as you peruse this website and look forward to seeing you in person this Sunday!
